1. aged 18 years or older
2. patients with a diagnosis of mild to moderate CHE were included.
1. patients with severe CHE requiring systemic corticosteroids
2. had disease flare-ups
3. used systemic corticosteroids two weeks prior to the inclusion
4. patients who were pregnant and/or lactating
5. had a history of contact allergy to ingredients in the test product
