入选标准
- •All adult patients (>= 18 years) being posted for major surgeries (clean surgeries such as hernia repair, cesarean section for cephalo-pelvic disproportion, tubectomy) performed in departments of general surgery and obstetrics and gynecology would be included in the study after obtaining well informed written consent.
排除标准
- •Patient posted for emergency surgeries and patients declining to give informed consent would be excluded from the study. Patients with pre- existing infections, anemia, diabetes and immunosupressed patients shall also be excluded.
