Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age :18\-60 years of age
- •2\. Any gender
- •4\. On mechanical ventilation
- •5\. First ICU admission
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Consent not given
- •2\. New onset or persistent acute kidney injury before enrolment in the
- •3\. Readmission to ICU
- •4\. Chronic Kidney injury
- •5\. Cirrhosis, portal hypertension, or portal vein thrombosis
- •6\. Deep vein thrombosis
- •7\. Difficulty in obtaining adequate sonographic images or doppler
- •waveform for portal vein, renal vein or IVC
- •8\. Transplanted kidney or liver
