Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Age :18\-60 years of age
  • •2\. Any gender
  • •4\. On mechanical ventilation
  • •5\. First ICU admission

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Consent not given
  • •2\. New onset or persistent acute kidney injury before enrolment in the
  • •3\. Readmission to ICU
  • •4\. Chronic Kidney injury
  • •5\. Cirrhosis, portal hypertension, or portal vein thrombosis
  • •6\. Deep vein thrombosis
  • •7\. Difficulty in obtaining adequate sonographic images or doppler
  • •waveform for portal vein, renal vein or IVC
  • •8\. Transplanted kidney or liver
