Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Individuals aged \>\=21 years and having at least 20 functional teeth was included in the study.
  • •2\. For patients diagnosed with periodontitis there must be CAL \>\=3 mm with pocket depth \>4mm to \<\=6mm detectable at \>\=2 teeth.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients on antibiotics \& analgesics in the past 6 months.
  • •2\. Pregnant and lactating females.
  • •3\. Patients undergone any periodontal therapy in last six months.
  • •4\. Smokers and alcoholics.
  • •5\. Any systemic disease which interferes with the treatment outcome e.g. Diabetes.
