- •Patients of ASA physical status 1 and 2
- •Patients between 18-75 years of age of either sex
- •Patients able to comprehend and willing to participate.
- •Patients scheduled for general elective surgeries
排除标准
- •Patientâ??s refusal to participate
- •Patients who were at risk for gastric regurgitation
- •Patients with a history of operation on the neck or oesophagus.
- •Patient with stenosis or bruit of the left carotid artery.
- •Patient with history of stroke or acute coronary syndrome in the preceding 3 months
