Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)ASA Category I
- •3\)No history of allergy to lignocaine
- •4\)No ongoing psychiatric treatment
- •5\)Simple extraction procedure using forceps
- •6\)Extraction of lower 1st and 2nd molars and premolars
- •7\)Willing to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •2\)Presenting with coexisting systemic illness
- •3\)Facial asymmetry ( congenital or acquired) with disfigurement of face including mandible
- •4\)Difficult extraction procedure necessitating prolonged or supplementary anaesthesia
- •5\)Extraction of lower anteriors or 3rd molars
