Inclusion Criteria

Hospitalized patients in intensive care unit
Age range is 50 - 85 years old
They are fed with a solution prepared in the hospital and through a nasogastric tube
Their serum albumin levels are less than 2.5 g / dL
Be hospitalized for at least 14 days.

Exclusion Criteria

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Taking medications such as corticosteroids, tamoxifen, methotrexate, aspirin and warfarin, and any anticoagulants, those with blood disorders
People with poor immune system or who take immunosuppressive drugs
People with diabetes and high and uncontrolled blood pressure.
