•1.The patient presented with cardinal features of Raktagata vata or Rakta dushti janya vikaras as described in Ayurvedic texts.
•2.Randomly selected irrespective of their caste, religion and sex.
•3.Patient with the age group of Age of 18-45 years.
•4.Patients with prehypertension and stage 1 hypertension.
•5.Willing and able to participate in the study.

•1.Patient below 18 years and above 45 years of age.
•2.Patient with SBP =160 mmHg, DBP =100 mmHg.
•3.Secondary Hypertension (Chronic kidney disease Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Hyperaldosteronism, Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus).
•4.The patient taking steroids, oral contraceptive pills and estrogen replacement therapy.
•5.Patient having systemic/serious complication of Cardio-vascular/ Cerebro-vascular/ Renal system.
•6.Patient having an illness such as Ischemic heart disease, Chronic renal failure etc.
•7.Any type of malignancy
•8.Alcoholics and any other drug abusers.
•9.Pregnant and Lactating women.
•10.Patient having a history of Hypersensitivity to the trial drug or any of its ingredients.
