Intubation using endotracheal tube is done under general anaesthesia in children.The size is generally calculated using age based formulas. Ultrasound is now gaining popularity as a real-time tool for estimation of correct size tube.In this study we will compare the two parameters.

Inclusion Criteria
ASA 1 and 2 with normal airway requiring endotracheal intubation under general anaesthesia
for elective surgeries
Exclusion Criteria
Patients suffering from respiratory distress, respiratory tract infections, difficult airway, laryngeal and tracheal pathology.
Patient posted for emergency surgeries.
Patients with known pulmonary or cardiovascular diseases.
