- •1. Patients more than 40 years of age with ischemic stroke
- •2. Requiring more than 2 days of mechanical ventilation
排除标准
- •1. Patients on dialysis or having congestive heart failure or hepatic dysfunction.
- •2. Patient having chest drain or leaks in the endotracheal tube as they will provide inappropriate end-tidal carbon dioxide values leading to erroneous VO2 and VCO2 calculations.
