Group 1 (20-44 years) & 2 ( > 60 years):
1)Subjects should have bilateral pure tone threshold within normal limits( < 25dBHL) at octave frequencies 250Hz to 8000Hz
2)Bilateral normal middle ear functioning as indicated by immittance evaluation.
Group 3:
1)Subjects should have bilateral hearing loss
2)Bilateral normal middle ear functioning as indicated by immittance evaluation.
•Presence or history of hearing problem (group 1 & 2)
•Presence or history of any neurological deficit
•Presence or history of ototoxic drug intake
•Previous history of medical conditions like head injury, cerebrovascular accident, meningitis, psychological disease and associated endocrine disorder like myxedema
