Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Group 1 (20\-44 years) \& 2 ( \> 60 years):
- •1\)Subjects should have bilateral pure tone threshold within normal limits( \< 25dBHL) at octave frequencies 250Hz to 8000Hz
- •2\)Bilateral normal middle ear functioning as indicated by immittance evaluation.
- •1\)Subjects should have bilateral hearing loss
- •2\)Bilateral normal middle ear functioning as indicated by immittance evaluation.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Presence or history of hearing problem (group 1 \& 2\)
- •Presence or history of any neurological deficit
- •Presence or history of ototoxic drug intake
- •Previous history of medical conditions like head injury, cerebrovascular accident, meningitis, psychological disease and associated endocrine disorder like myxedema
