Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •ââ??ª Parturient aged between 18 to 40
- •ââ??ª Parturient belonging to ASA grade 1 and ASA grade 2
- •ââ??ª Mild Pregnancy Induced Hypertension (PIH) parturient
- •ââ??ª Parturient scheduled for elective caesarean section
Exclusion Criteria
- •ââ??ª Unwilling parturient
- •ââ??ª Absolute and relative contraindications to spinal anaesthesia
- •ââ??ª Oedematous parturient
- •ââ??ª Parturient with anticipated difficult intubation ââ??ª Parturient with history of known allergy to anaesthetic drugs
- •ââ??ª Parturient with severe renal, endocrine and cardiac dysfunction, heart block
- •ââ??ª Parturient with severe pre\-eclampsia / PIH
- •ââ??ª Parturient with any chronic systemic illness
- •ââ??ª Parturient on Beta\-blocker drugs
- •ââ??ª Parturient with history of alcohol/ drug abuse
