Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •All admitted ICU patients will be assessed and included if they were 18 yrs old and will be expected to be in ICU for 48 hrs

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Post operative CTVS patients as on heparin infusions.
  • •Diagnosed PE/ DVT on anticoagulants.
  • •. Patients with Valvular heart heart disease / valve replacement on anticoagulants.
  • •. Recently (With in 48 hrs)Thrombolysed patients or Acute MI and acute stroke(CVA)
  • •.Additional exclusions included pregnancy, congenital coagulation or life support withdrawal
