- •-Treatment at the Center Obesity North-Netherlands
- •-Mini-gastric bypass between January 2015 and December 2016
- •-According the international IFSO guidelines:
- •oBMI = 40 kg/m² or
- •oBMI = 35 kg/m² with obesity-associated disease: diabetes mellitus type 2, sleep apnea, hypertension, arthrosis, cardiovascular disease, or asthma/COPD.
- •-Age between 18 and 65 years

The effect of a gastric bypass surgery on the absorption of acetylsalicylic acid and omeprazole after ingestion.Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery is a successful treatment for morbid obesity. In this procedure, a small gastric pouch is created. The duodenum is bypassed by connecting the jejunum to this stomach pouch.
