- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Composite endpoint of all-cause mortality, stroke, major bleeding, major vascular complication, new renal replacement therapy and high-grade atrioventricular block[Assessment of the composite endpoint at index hospitalisation will occur via review of medical records by the Research Team.<br><br>Assessment of the composite endpoint at 30 days after TAVI will occur via a 15-30 minute in-person clinic review or telephone interview (if there are logistic and travel constraints such as regional or interstate patients). There will also be corroboration of data collected from the patient via review of medical records by the Research team. Review by the patient's regular Cardiologist and repeat transthoracic echocardiogram at 30 days after TAVI required by the study is part of standard care. <br><br>Statistical methods for assessment will be using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) for the composite endpoint.
