1.Male or female right-handed individuals between 18 to 50 years of age meeting the DSM 5 criteria for schizophrenia (American Psychiatric Association, 2013)
2.Illness duration of more than 2 years
3.Patients currently stabilized on same antipsychotics for a period of at least 4 weeks but having significant negative symptoms (SANS scores >=60 and SAPS score <=50)
4.Ability to read Hindi or English language
5.Patients with capacity and willingness to give informed consent
1-Presence of any other psychiatric disorder or substance use
disorder (except caffeine or nicotine) through M.I.N.I 7.0. screening.
2-History of seizure.
3-History of receiving any treatment with brain stimulation.
4- Known or suspected pregnancy or currently lactating.
5-Presence of unstable medical illness.
6-History suggestive of space occupying brain lesion or cerebro-vascular accident.
7-Having implanted device or metal in brain/head or cardiac pacemaker or ferromagnetic dental braces.

Name Time Method Change in SANS scoresTimepoint: Baseline assessment will be done within a week <br/ ><br>prior to initiating rTMS. Assessment will be repeated within 24 hours at end of 5th session, and the last session.
