简要总结

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of photobiomodulation in optimizing therapeutic processes related to motor and cognitive muscle performance, especially in teachers with high vocal demand and diagnosed with vocal fatigue. 41 teachers from the public school system in a city in the interior of São Paulo were selected, after initial screening of 150 candidates. The participants were evaluated regarding the characteristics of vocal fatigue, vocal condition, vocal resonance and vocal deviation. During the study, no adverse effects were identified, which suggests the safety of the method used. The results indicate that photobiomodulation provided immediate improvements in respiratory parameters, pneumo-phono-articulatory coordination and muscular performance, evaluated through acoustic parameters of the vocal muscles. The primary outcomes showed that the technique can be used effectively in rehabilitation, with notable improvements after just one session. Secondary outcomes revealed significant increases in vocal muscle performance and respiratory coordination, with p values ??at 1% and 5%, indicating the robustness of the results.Additionally, it was observed that, while the frequency of linked speech decreased, the phonation time increased. This change in speech patterns suggests a positive adaptation of the participants' vocal muscles after the intervention, reflecting a possible improvement in voice quality and the efficiency of vocal production. These findings highlight the potential of photobiomodulation as an effective tool for vocal rehabilitation in populations with high vocal demands, such as teachers.
