Small scale household dairy farmers who supply milk to the milk collection societies
Dairy farmers with a minimum of 1 year of experience located in Udupi Taluk and who provide
consent to participate in the study
Participants age more than 18 years
Local veterinarians under Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services serving the villages from where the small scale household
dairy farmers recruited for the study
Individuals who do not speak or understand the language in which this study is conducted
Farmers whose farms are not within their household area are excluded

Name Time Method This study will assess antimicrobial usage and associated factors in small scale household dairy farms <br/ ><br>while evaluating animal health management practices among dairy farmers and veterinarians <br/ ><br>It will assess the factors of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in these farms including usage and hygiene practices <br/ ><br>Additionally it will help in identifying whether antibiotic residues are present or absent in raw milk samples through test reports obtained from Udupi Dairy <br/ ><br>This comprehensive research enhances understanding of antimicrobial use in farming practices and milk safety in small dairy operations <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 6 months
