Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Adults of either gender.
- •proximal third tibia fractures with AO type 41A2\.1, 41A2\.2, 41A2\.3, 41A3\.1, 41A3\.2, 41A3\.3, 42A1(a),42A2(a), 42A3(a), 42B2(a), 42B3(a), 42C2, 42C3(i).
- •Segmental fractures\[42C2, 42C3(i)] with any one of the lines follow the above AO type.
- •Fresh fractures less than 3 weeks of trauma.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patient refusal to give consent.
- •Fracture line extending into intra articular surface.
- •Open fractures deemed unfit for nailing.
- •Wound or Infection over the nail insertion site.
- •General contraindications for the surgery.
