- •patients with diabetes and hypertension; overweight; more than 30 years of age and under 60 years of age; not smoking and alcohol; non kidney stones; non use of oral contraceptives pills in women; fasting blood sugar of 126 to 250.
- •Exclusion criteria: changes in medications; non-use of prescribed supplements; Unwillingness to engage in continuing study; the use of a specific treatment regimen
