Brief Summary

The current study is Open labelled Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial

Comparing effect of Amalaki churna with Guda - 3gm in Annadau Kala (before food - twice a day) and Gokshura kwath 40ml in Apana kala (before food - once a day) for 7days duration. Each group comprising of 30 patients Diagnosed of Pittaj mutrakruchra. Assessment will be done on 0th and 8th day.

Ayurvedic samhita included number of kalpa to treat Pittaj mutrakrucha, Chakradatta described  "Amalaki churna with Guda" in Pittaj mutrakruchra chikitsa, having action as pittaghna, dahaghna, shulaghna, asrughna, param tarpana, mutrakruchra vinashan  and ingredients are easily available, palatable, economical. taking all this in consideration Amalaki churna with Guda is selected as the drug of choice in the management of Pittaj mutrakruchra.

Inclusion Criteria

Patient having symptoms of Pittaj mutrakruchra like Peeta mutrata, Sadaha mutrata, Saruja mutrata, Kruccha mutrata, Muhurmuhu mutrata.

Exclusion Criteria

• Pregnancy 2.
• Prostate enlargement 3.
• Known case of malignancy of any part of urinary tract.
• known case of Renal failure, chronic kidney diseases, Renal calculus.
• Severe traumatic cases 6.
• Known case of Diabetes mellitus.
