Inclusion Criteria
Adult In patients of both gender
Fever more than or equal to 38°C for less than 14 days suspected to be leptospirosis or scrub typhus by treating physician
Exclusion Criteria
Pediatric patients
Patients admitted to hospital with non-infectious etiology
Known malignancy / immune-compromised conditions
Unable to provide consent / unavailability of legally authorized representative
