Adults with a parent diagnosed with schizophrenia
1.A participant should have one parent, other than the parent with schizophrenia, with no mental illness.
2.The onset of the parentâ??s illness should be before participant was 16 years of age.
Healthy controls
1.18-40 years of age
Adults with a parent diagnosed with schizophrenia
1.A participant has more than one parent with severe mental illness.
2.Another parent who has a chronic mental illness, significant neurological disorders, or physical disorders
3.Current or history of mental illness
Healthy controls
1.Parents who have chronic mental illness, significant neurological or physical disorders
2.Current or history of mental illness
