入选标准
- •a)Patients fulfilling the ICD-10 criteria for Schizophrenia who are prescribed ECT by treating psychiatrist.
- •b)Patients going to receive a course of electroconvulsive therapy as advised by treating team.
- •c)Patient or Nominated representative of the patient giving informed consent both for ECT and for this study.
排除标准
- •a)Substance use disorder in dependence pattern except caffeine and nicotine .
- •b)Patients diagnosed as suffering from major medical or neurological disorder by history or examination or investigation.
- •c)Those patients who received electroconvulsive therapy in previous 6 months.
- •d)Patients with intellectual disability disorder and other comorbid psychiatric illness.
- •e)Catatonia patients
- •f)Patients not amenable for baseline cognitive assessment
