Inclusion Criteria
Twenty-five female and 25 male ASA physical status I-II grade patients between the ages of 60 and 75 years old who were undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were enrolled.
Exclusion Criteria
Exclusion criteria included patients who exhibited overweight (BMI > 30 kg/m2), upper respiratory infection(within 2 weeks), respiratory tract disease, uncontrolled hypertension / diabetes mellitus and coronary artery disease with more than moderate degree.
