- Analysis of clinical profile including demographic factors like age, gender, residence, ecological factors like snake type, site of bite, snake species, clinical features like signs of local envenomation, hemotoxic and neurotoxic bite features, investigations like serum creatinine and WBCT prolongation, treatment factors like total number of ASV given, patients requiring ventilatory support and dialysis in patients with snakebite.

There is a paucity of data regarding snakebite incidents and their outcomes in Gujarat. My study will try to fulfil this gap. This is a prospective observational study titled Clinical profile & outcome in snakebite patients : A prospective observational study at a tertiary care hospital.
My aim is to evaluate the clinical profile and outcome in snakebite patients admitted to Sir Takhtsinhji Hospital, Bhavnagar during the study duration of 9 months.
I will analyse clinical profile (demographic factors, ecological factors, environmental factors, clinical features, investigations, treatment factors) and outcome of these patients.

- •Age more than 18 years Patients admitted with an alleged history of snake bite and clinical presentation and who have given consent to participate in the study.
排除标准
- •Patient who is a known case of coagulopathy.
- •Patients on anti-coagulants, anti-platelets.
- •Patients with a history of neurological disorders.
