1)Patient have score between 25-50 as per OSWESTRY LOW BACK DISABILITY QUESTIONNAIRE.
2)Patient with MRI finding of PIVD stage (bulging disc, disc herniation, protrusion, extrusion).
3)Patients between the age group of 18-65 years
Patients who are contraindicated for Niruha Basti and Anuvasan basti such as - udar roga,
intestinal perforation, intestinal obstruction
Known case of spinal muscular atrophy, spina bifida, spinal tumors, osteoporosis
and cauda equina syndrome
Those patients who have PIVD along with Neurological disorder, muscles wasting and lack
of muscle power
Patients with renal or hepatic impairment (Sr creatinine greater than 1.8 mg/dl, SGOT and SGPT greater than Five times of upper limit)
Patients with co-morbid conditions such as Hypertension (systolic greater than equal to 160 mm Hg and
Diastolic greater than equal to 100 mm Hg despite antihypertensive medications) and Diabetes Mellitus (having HbA1c greater than 7.5% with or without oral hypoglycemic medication).
Patients who are on antitubercular or antiretro viral medication.
Patients requiring emergency treatment.
