Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age \>\= 18 years;
- •2\. Reporting a minimum average overall knee pain intensity of 40 on a 100mm Visual Analog Score (VAS) for most days in the past month;
- •3\. To ensure that within one year after surgery to adhere to the hospital outpatient review;
- •4\. Showing a willingness to learn exercises taught by physiotherapists;
- •5\. Having smartphones with the WeChat app and are willing to receive text message reminders in WeChat from physiotherapists during the trial.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age \>\= 80 years;
- •2\. Pathological fracture;
- •3\. Systemic arthritic conditions;
- •4\. Previous history of knee malignancy;
- •5\. Past hip or knee joint replacement, tibial osteotomy, or other surgeries of hip or knee joints;
- •6\. Any other neurological, muscular or joint diseases that may currently affect the physical function of lower limbs;
- •7\. Rejecting either the leg swing exercise or quadriceps strength training.
