1.Patients irrespective of their gender, caste, religion and socioeconomic status between the age group of 18 to 50 years.
2.Patients having any 4 symptoms out of 7 symptoms as per Acharya Charaka in Cha. Su. 21.
3.Patients with BMI between 25 to 29.9 kg/m2 (Over weight according to WHO Criteria ).
1.Patients of the age less than 18 years and more than 50 years.
2.Patients with BMI less than 25 and more than 29.9 kg/m2.
3.Patients having systemic disorders like Hypertension, Cardiac diseases and Type 2 Diabetes etc.
4.Patients having Sthaulya (obesity) due to Genetic disorders, Post Pregnancy, drug induced, Hypothyroidism, other Hormonal disorders and diseases related to them.
5.Patients taking any medication/s leading to overweight such as Corticosteroids.
