Inclusion Criteria
1.Age group of >18 years critically ill admitted in intensive care unit
2.Only the first ICU admission during a hospital stay will be included.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients with amputation, surgery, neurological, or rheumatological problems involving the lower limbs.
2.Patients with skin lacerations or wounds in the areas selected for ultrasound evaluation
3.Patients readmitted to the ICU during the same hospital admission and patients transferred to other ICU/hospitals were excluded from the analysis
4.Pregnant females
