Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) chronic knee OA patients with pain duration more than 3 months
- •2\) patients who had radiological OA grade more than Kellgren–Lawrence grade 2
- •3\) patients aged 50–80 years
- •4\) refractory knee OA pain that was not alleviated by analgesics, visco\-supplementation, and physiotherapy.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients were excluded if they had following as
- •1\) acute knee pain (more less 3 months)
- •2\) prior knee surgery
- •3\) connective tissue diseases that affected the knee
- •4\) sciatic pain
- •5\) steroid injection therapy during the previous 3 months
- •6\) allergic response to local anethetics or steroid
- •7\) serious neurological or psychiatric disorders
- •8\) used an anticoagulant
