Inclusion Criteria
Patients with indication for MPFL reconstruction including possibly necessary cartilage therapies.
- Age: >14 years
Exclusion Criteria
- Known hereditary connective tissue diseases (e.g. Ehlers-Danlos syndrome)
- Known neuromuscular diseases
- Significant other musculoskeletal diseases
- Revision MPFL reconstruction
- Concomitant procedures such as femoral and tibial realignment osteotomies, trochleoplasties and tuberosity transections
- Trochlear dysplasia type C and D
- TTTG distance > 20mm

Name Time Method The aim of the study is to demonstrate the non-inferiority of dynamic MPFL reconstruction against standard static MPFL reconstruction.<br>Follow-up: 2 years<br>Primary endpoint: Kujala score
