Inclusion Criteria

age between 8;0 and 13;11 years at the time of testing
- Adequate German language skills to complete the questionnaires (parents as well as child; appraisal on the basis of personal dialogue)
- in the study group (stuttering children): an at least mild stuttering severity rated using the SSI and a mild to moderate impact in the OASES questionnaire

Exclusion Criteria

- inadequate German language skills (either parents or child)
- neurological abnormalities (e.g. mental retardation), dyslexia or speech comprehension problems, emotional or behavioral problems (e.g. attention deficits) (based on parents‘ information), that can impede questionnaire responses
