Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •The inclusion criteria were chronic obstructive pulmonary patients with
- •\-age more than 40 years
- •\-smoking history of more than 10 pack\-years
- •\-history of exacerbation at least one time in the previous year.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients were excluded if they had
- •\-history of exacerbation during the previous 6 weeks before the enrollment
- •\- pneumonia or history of admission to the hospitals during the previous 3 months
- •\- long\-term oxygen therapy
- •\- co\-morbidities that limited their exercise tolerance
- •\- a negative attitude toward the programme.
