简要总结
This study explores the correlation between gluteus medius muscle weakness and plantar pressure distribution in young office based workers with sedentary habits Prolonged sitting can lead to reduced muscle activity and weakening of the gluteus medius which plays a crucial role in pelvic stability and lower limb alignment In this study 50 participants aged 25 to 40 years were assessed using surface EMG to measure gluteus medius strength and sensor based insoles to evaluate plantar pressure during walking The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation to determine the relationship between muscle weakness and foot pressure patterns The findings aim to highlight how hip muscle weakness can influence foot biomechanics and help in early identification and prevention of musculoskeletal issues in sedentary individuals
