入选标准
- •Two single root teeth per patient with persistent periodontal pockets (ST 5mm/BOP + or 6mm and <10mm) in one jaw, in different quadrants and at a distance of one tooth.
- •- The examination will be performed on 50 patients.
- •- Patient is regularly aware of the supportive periodontitis therapy
- •- It is a periodontal disease with a slow or moderate rate of progression.
- •- A maximum of 20% smokers are to be admitted to the patient collective.
- •- The last antibiotic should have been taken at least 12 weeks ago.
排除标准
- •- Taking antibiotics during the study period
- •- Increase of probing depths = 2mm
- •- Development of a periodontal abscess
- •- Pus drainage over the pocket
- •- simultaneous periodontitis treatment elsewhere during the study period
- •- Tooth extraction of the selected teeth
- •- Need for antibiotic prophylaxis
- •- Serious general diseases that have a significant influence on the immune system (e.g. HIV, autoimmune diseases, cancer, poorly controlled diabetes mellitus, etc.)
- •- Haemorrhagic diathesis
- •- taking bisphosphonates or blood-thinning drugs
- •- Presence of pregnancy
- •- Presence of an infectious disease (e.g. hepatitis, HIV)
- •- severely reduced general condition
