Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Adult age more than 18 years olds and
- •2\. capillary blood glucose in between 180 \- 400 mg/dl.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) Patients need intravenous infusion insulin therapy
- •2\)Continuous enteral feeding
- •3\)Patients in a shock state with vasopressor and nothing per oral
- •4\)Patient with Raynaud phenomenon, which interferes with capillary blood glucose measurement
- •5\)Hypoglycemia prior admission
- •6\)Chronic liver disease (child\-pugh score B and C)
- •7\)History of insulin allergy or anaphylaxis
- •8\)Surgical patients
- •9\)Known pregnancy
- •10\) Patient who cannot consent form or identify LAR within 48 hr
