Inclusion Criteria
- •Elective caesarean section
- •American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status grade I or II,
- •Gestation greater than 37 weeks
- •Singleton pregnancy
- •Non\-smoker
Exclusion Criteria
- •Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus
- •Use of vasoactive medication including salbutamol, beta\-blockers and thyroxine
- •BMI greater than 40\.0
