Inclusion Criteria
Recreational athletes clinically diagnosed with PFPS by an orthopaedician.
Pain provoked by at least 2 activities from running, walking, hopping, squatting, stair climbing, kneeling, or prolonged sitting.
Positive Clarkes sign.
Exclusion Criteria
Concomitant injury or pain arising from the lumbar spine or hip, knee internal derangement.
Knee meniscal or ligament injury in past 3 months.
Previous knee surgery.
Early OA.
