Inclusion Criteria
Community-dwelling elderly women over 70 years of age, MMSE score over 23 and less than 27, plasma BDNF levels within +/- 2 standard deviations of the sample mean
Exclusion Criteria
Women with regular habits of eating cheese (over 7 pieces/slices of cheese per week), allergies to dairy or lactose intolerance, blood pressure above 160/100mmHg, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and whomever the principal investigator or other doctor deems unfit to participate in the trial.
