Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Age between 15\-65 Yrs
  • •2\. Thoracic trauma (blunt \& penetrating both) patients with hemo/ pneumothorax being managed with ICD
  • •3\. Giving Consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. chronic pulmonary diseases (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diffuse interstitial lung disease)
  • •2\. Patients requiring mechanical ventilator support
  • •3\. Patients with ICD placed from outside the institute.
  • •4\. Patients with Continuous air leak
  • •5\. Pregnancy
  • •6\. Coagulopathy
