Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with full term pregnancy posted for elective cesarean section.
  • •Patients belonging to American society of anesthesiologists ASA grade I or II.
  • •Patients with body mass index BMI between 18\.5 to 22\.9 kg/m2\.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients refusing consent for study.
  • •Patients contraindicated for spinal anaesthesia.
  • •Patients with known history of allergy to drugs used in study.
  • •Patients who require an emergency cesarean section.
  • •Patients in who there is more than expected blood loss during the surgery.
  • •Coagulopathy
  • •Patients with preexisting diseases
  • •Spine deformities or history of laminectomy
  • •Pregnancy induced hypertension
  • •Patients with twin pregnancy
