1.Patients aged 18 years old or more
2.Female undergoing complete surgical staging in gynecologic malignancies
which are endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and other e.g. peritoneal cancer
(Total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with
bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection with omentectomy with peritoneal
washing with or without paraaortic dissection with or without peritoneal biopsy)
3.Good consciousness
4.Patient who can communicate in Thai fluently
1.Patients who are unable to chew, on removable dental prostheses, severe
dental caries, or severe loose teeth
2.Mint allergy
3.Xylitol allergy
4.Poor Cognitive function
5.Risk of choking or dysphagia
6.Major bowel surgery e.g. history of end to end anastomosis bowel, colostomy
7.Chronic diseases requiring anti-cholinergic drugs for treatment e.g. chronic
8.bstructive pulmonary disease, Parkinson disease, irritable bowel syndrome
and psychiatric disorder
9.Need of intensive care unit
