入选标准
- •a.All Patients diagnosed with VTE: Patients will be included if they have acute deep-vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and/or spontaneous superficial venous thrombosis (SVT), unusual site venous thrombosis confirmed by objective tests (i.e. contrast venography, ultrasonography, impedance plethysmography or magnetic resonance, for suspected DVT; pulmonary angiography, lung scintigraphy or helical computed tomography scan, for suspected PE; ultrasonography for suspected SVT).
- •b. All age groups
- •c. All types of patients (including Seriously ill patients) admitted to hospital as new patients or existing patients who develop VTE/PE as complication in due course of treatment at participating site.
- •d. Pateints enrolled in a clinical trial or on experimental therapy would also be included based on the site IEC approvals
排除标准
- •a.Patients will be excluded if they are currently participating in a therapeutic clinical trial or if they will not be available for a 3-month follow-up.
- •b.superficial venous thrombosis (SVT) arising out of iv line/cannula
- •b.c.A diagnosed case of fat embolism due to any etiology including orthopedic complication
