Inclusion Criteria
- Difficult cannulation of bile duct
Exclusion Criteria
- post-surgical upper GI anatomy
- previous endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography or percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography
- papilla within a diverticulum
- coagulation disorder
