Inclusion Criteria
  • Difficult cannulation of bile duct
Exclusion Criteria
  • post-surgical upper GI anatomy
  • previous endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography or percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography
  • papilla within a diverticulum
  • coagulation disorder
