Children between the ages of 4 and 14 years
- The child has an indication for outpatient surgery at the AOZ
- Written consent to participation in the study by the legal guardians
- Age of the legal guardian = 18 years of age.
- Sufficient German language skills of the legal guardian to ensure that the information sheet and the declaration of consent are understood.
- Known hearing impairments of the child, which noticeably affect the auditory perception.
- Known serious illnesses of the child that do not allow the intervention. The investigator decides whether the child is stable enough to participate in the study.
- Lack of mental, physical or linguistic abilities of the parents, which does not allow participation.
- Indication for outpatient surgery that makes it impossible to listen to music and take saliva samples (e.g. operations in the ear, nose and throat area, as well as in the area of ??mouth, jaw and palate operations)
