Exclusion Criteria
Diagnoses F00-F09, acute risk of self-harm or harm to others; unable to provide informed consent; insufficient knowledge of German language; overall bad health condition

Name Time Method Suicidal ideation based on Reasons for living inventory; measured at T1, T2, & T3 (immediately before and after the intervention; approx. one week later)
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Data will becollected before (T1) and after article exposure (T2) as well as one week later (T3).<br><br>Measured variables:<br>- Primary outcome variable: suicidal ideation (measured with the Reasons for Living Inventory)<br>- Secondary outcome variable: suicide-related knowledge (measured with 5 items of the Facts on Suicide Quiz), hopelessness (measured with the Beck Hopelessness Scale), mood (measured with the Affective State Scale), stigmatizing attitudes toward suicidal individuals (measured with the Short Stigma of Suicide Scale), and help-seeking behavior (measured with the General Help seeking Questionnaire). <br>Other variables: identification with the respective protagonist in the article (measured with the Cohen Identification Scale only at T2). <br>
