1. Patients with mild to moderate periodontitis having pocket depth of >5mm.
2. Ability for follow up at frequent intervals.
3. Patients with good to fair plaque index( Silness and Loe Plaque Index-1964)
4. Subjects with no history of systemic diseases.
5. Subjects with minimum of 20 teeth present and at least one pocket site with a probing
depth of >= 4mm in each quadrant.
1. Patients with history of antibiotics or oral antiseptics use during the last 6 months.
2. Patients on any medication taken within 6 months which may alter the clinical
Parameters of the study.
3. Pregnant and lactating women.
4. Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment within a period of last 1 year.
5. Patients allergic to ozone.
