Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age more than 18 years, both males and females
- •- All cases of Pituitary macroadenoma presenting with visual complaints
- •- Patients undergoing both transnasal and transcranial surgeries
- •- Patients whose tumour was totally removed or whose optic apparatus was adequately
- •decompressed
Exclusion Criteria
- •- Age less than 18 years
- •- Patients unwilling to participate in the study
- •- Patients with a history of intraocular surgery or laser surgery
- •- Patients who had a residual tumour on postoperative CT scans were excluded from the
- •- Other tumours causing compression of the chiasm or optic neuropathy (including
- •glaucoma) were excluded from the study
