Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Subjects of either gender aged between 18\-60 years undergoing ORIF
  • 2\. Willingness to give informed consent and to be available for follow\-up

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Cases of open fracture, delayed primary or secondary closure procedures
  • 2\. Cases already on antimicrobials
  • 3\. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus
  • 4\. Immunocompromised cases
  • 5\. Smokers
